ZUTTERLING, Lois Elaine, age 85 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. Lois was born September 23, 1932 in Shamokin, PA to the late Glenn and Mary (Palmer) Heckard. In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, Forrest and Follmer Heckard. Lois is survived by her husband of 67 years, P. Richard Zutterling; children, Richard A. (Susan) Zutterling of New York, Sharon (Steve) Brandt of Virginia, Debra (Roger) Alcorn of Middletown, and Bruce (Becky) Zutterling of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Johnson, Stephanie (Christopher) Grafton, Lisa...

ZUTTERLING, Lois Elaine, age 85 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. Lois was born September 23, 1932 in Shamokin, PA to the late Glenn and Mary (Palmer) Heckard. In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, Forrest and Follmer Heckard. Lois is survived by her husband of 67 years, P. Richard Zutterling; children, Richard A. (Susan) Zutterling of New York, Sharon (Steve) Brandt of Virginia, Debra (Roger) Alcorn of Middletown, and Bruce (Becky) Zutterling of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Johnson, Stephanie (Christopher) Grafton, Lisa (Wayne) Thomas, Emily Brandt, Brian (Jessica) Alcorn, Christy Rupe, Jason (Jennifer) Zutterling and Amanda Zutterling; great grandchildren, Connor, Ethan, Tyler, Evie, Charlie, Millie and Lily; a brother-in-law, Bob Maxwell of Pennsylvania as well as nieces and nephews. Lois was a 1950 graduate of Williamsport High School, Pennsylvania and dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church, Miamisburg and enjoyed many activities including bridge, sewing and counted cross stich. Over the years she took many vacations with her family and organized their relocation several times over her husband's career. She always appreciated her time at the beach after Dick retired and often had a place in her life for a family cat. The famous July 4th family reunions were always close to her heart. A memorial service will begin 11:00 AM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Parkview United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Dave Pettenngill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton at 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420 or Parkview UMC Building Fund at 3713 Benner Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342.
