Mae Louise Duncan, 94, of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at The Laurels of West Carrollton.

She was born May 25, 1922 in Lancing, TN, the daughter of Elias and Annie (McCormick) Taylor.

Mae grew up in Tennessee. She was a part of the war effort during World War II, where she was trained in the operation of calutrons as a part of the Manhattan Project. In later years, Mae moved to Ohio for work. She retired from Monsanto after many years of service. Mae was very fun and loving....

She was born May 25, 1922 in Lancing, TN, the daughter of Elias and Annie (McCormick) Taylor.

Mae grew up in Tennessee. She was a part of the war effort during World War II, where she was trained in the operation of calutrons as a part of the Manhattan Project. In later years, Mae moved to Ohio for work. She retired from Monsanto after many years of service. Mae was very fun and loving. She enjoyed crocheting and was devoted to her Baptist faith.

She is survived by niece, Darlene (John) Buchanan; nephew, Ricky Taylor; brother, Cordell (Elise) Taylor; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Theodore Duncan; children, Larry and Sharon Duncan; brothers, Lenous, Kenneth, J.L, and W. N. Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 25, 2016 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg with Pastor Elmo Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg.
